Data processing in Glasko

This page describes how Glasko processes customer data on clients' sites and in their stores. The details are set out in a data processing agreement that Fullo signs with every client.

Roles

The client (a store or a chain) is the controller of its customers' data. Fullo is the processor: Glasko processes that data only to talk with the client's customers, on the client's instructions and under the data processing agreement.

Glasko introduces itself

Glasko clearly presents itself to the customer as an AI assistant. A customer who wants a person is handed to a salesperson or the store.

Which data

The text of the conversation; voice, when the customer speaks instead of typing (the recording is used only to transcribe it and is never stored); data the customer chooses to leave for a reservation, an appointment or a hand-over to a salesperson (for example a name and phone number); technical data about the conversation (time, language, page of the site). IP addresses are not written to conversation logs.

Conversation logs

Before writing a log, Glasko removes anything shaped like personal data: email addresses, phone numbers, card numbers, personal ID numbers, bank accounts, street addresses and a name after "my name is". Logs stay on a server in the EU (Hetzner) and are deleted after 30 days.

Language models

To write an answer, Glasko sends the text of the conversation to a language model: Claude (Anthropic) or OpenAI. The model does not write prices, lead times or stock; those come from the client's data. Model and voice providers may process data outside the EU; such transfers are based on standard contractual clauses.

Reports

The monthly report to the client contains figures (conversations, reservations, orders, appointments), without customers' personal data.

Voice

When the browser has speech recognition (for example Chrome and Edge), the browser itself does the transcription. Otherwise the recording goes to OpenAI for transcription, and to Google (Gemini) when OpenAI does not respond. Answers are read aloud by OpenAI or by the voice built into the browser.

Sub-processors

Hetzner Online GmbH (server in the EU); Anthropic (Claude model); OpenAI (OpenAI models, transcription and reading aloud); Google (Gemini, transcription fallback).

Customers' rights

Customers send requests for access, correction or deletion to the store (the controller). Fullo helps the client answer within the legal deadline.
